Dr. Jart: Cicapair Facial Calming Mist

So FYI I'm all about facial mist and had used many brands! Today I'm reviewing what I got during my trip to Seoul, South Korea, this year - The Cicapair Facial Calming Mist by Dr. Jart.

WHAT THE LABEL SAYS:
  • "Moisturizing soothing mist containing centella asiatica complex that calms irritated skin with a hydrating finish."
  • "Directions: Close your eyes and spray it evenly 20-30 cm away from your face whenever it feels dry. 'Do not shake before use.'"
  • 150 mL / 5.07 fl. oz.
  • Usage: Can be used up to 12 months or 1 year
WHAT PAT SAYS:
  • Packaging
    • I think the packaging is very aesthetic and it definitely keeps up the brand image of Dr. Jart+.
    • The bottle is light and slender, a perfect size for a facial mist bottle.
    • When sprayed, the mist is light and doesn't leave droplets on your face, yet it evenly spreads throughout your face, giving a slight cooling effect.
  • The mist itself
      • Smell: It smells a bit herby but gentle? Smells like something healthy and organic but not that strong that it will cause you to sneeze. However, it takes quite sometime to get used to.
      • Hydration: The mist is just a mild mist and I think it will work well with a person with combination skin and oily skin but definitely not for those with extremely dry skin like myself.
        • Good for in between the day hydration
      • It doesn't help set makeup but does not ruin your makeup.
  • Where to buy: Olive Young in Korea
    • Sephora does sell Dr. Jart and the product in the Cicapair Line but not this mist.
  • Price: I don't remember but it's a reasonable price (drugstore price)
    • Should be less than $15
  • OVERALL RATING
    • Will I buy it again? NO
    • Will I recommend it? Maybe
    • Pros:
      • The smell is calming
      • The pressure and spray-head is perfect
    • Cons:
      • Doesn't really help someone with very dry skin like me
      • only purchasable in some locations
    • Stars: ⭐️ ⭐️       (my stars are out of five)
